Hello all –
Thanks to all of you who gave ideas for our F2F Agenda, October 3-4 in Chicago. Attached is the most current draft. During our meeting tomorrow, we’ll be going over that and seeing who might want to be responsible for leading the different sessions.
Any other items for discussion?
Looking forward to it!
Kathleen

Hello all –
Given the holiday this week, the attendance at Friday’s Engagement meeting is light. We’re proposing cancelling the meeting; instead, we’d like your input on the DRAFT agenda for the October F2F meeting to be held October 3-4 at the Big10 Conference Center (attached).
Questions/Thoughts:
* We started with topics you identified in the survey; we also know there are others you may want to address. Let us know what those are and we can make it happen.
* We set the time to adjourn at 11:00 on Friday so you could still make the early afternoon flights, see if that makes sense.
* Once we get the topics down, we’ll work on who might be best positioned to lead the conversations around those topics.
* Is there anyone we want to invite in from outside the group? Could be an outside perspective? One of our top administrators, etc.? They could join via zoom if we thought it was helpful.
* We’ll have a registration fee to cover morning coffee/breaks and lunch. Lodging and dinner will be on your own. The space is no charge to us.
Feel free to respond to all or contact Ryan or I directly, open to all ideas! We’re excited to see this moving ahead!
Have a great 4th!
Ryan and Kathleen

All –
Hope the first weekend of the summer is off to a great start!
We have a slight change in plans which I hope won’t cause extreme chaos. Based on the availability of the Big10 Conference Center, we are needing to shift our dates for the F2F meeting slightly.
The new times: Thursday, October 3 (all day) Friday, October 4 (till noon). Let me know by Monday COB if that makes attendance impossible.
For those of you who are wanting to book hotels, there are several options that have shuttles to and from the airport and The Rose has a shuttle service to the Big10 Conference Center. In checking rates, the rates we can get through Concur are better than what they were offering if we got a block; everyone can choose what they want.
Thanks for being flexible! We will start crafting the agenda!
Kathleen

Good morning,
Thanks for responding on dates for the F2F. The dates that work best for the most are October 2 and 3. We will start at 9:00 on Wednesday, October 2, and conclude at noon on Thursday, October 3. There are several hotels in the area that have shuttle service to and from O’Hare.
We are finalizing plans with the Big10 Conference Center and will know more on Monday. In the meantime, I know many of you are working on fall calendars and we wanted to get this out.
It will be great to see everyone!
Kathleen

Does anyone have a badge for engagement on their campus? If so, may I potentially get a listing of requirements, who oversees it, etc.? The Collaborative is moving forward with this and want to see what others have established prior to sending it for approval.
Thank you all
