Thanks to Keith Marshall for the attached listing of Big Ten Committees.   We can review and see if there are any where it might make sense to further collaborate.

We spent time talking about how we might better leverage our Foundation partners in support of our work.  One option is to have a couple of our most engaged foundation partners join us for one of calls to determine how we might best provide them information they could use to help us seek out interested partners.  From there, we could each invite our foundation reps (if appropriate) to one of our meetings (maybe December F2F?) to have a discussion.  Another idea is to join them in one of their meetings.  If you have a Foundation rep who is already on board, think about whether they might be good to bring in for a conversation.  Morgan, you thought you might have someone; there will also be others.

It might be helpful to bring in an outside donor to talk about their interest in engagement work and how we best present that work to meet joint goals.  We can talk about ideas you might have from your own institutions.  The Impact Funders Forum might also have some information that would be helpful to us.

More intentionally engaging Deans in engagement work is a good strategy for campus institutionalization.  We will continue to discuss strategies for doing that.  A closer alignment between their needs and what we need for the Carnegie designation can be one way of connecting.  How could we better leverage the civic and community engagement connection?
