Husker Entrepreneurs, I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected for the 2025-26 Nebraska Entrepreneurship Accelerator! This cohort program supports entrepreneurship students from across campus and offers an individualized developmental plan that caters to the unique leadership and entrepreneurial journey of each person. It connects each student to carefully curated, exclusive resources and experts designed to support and grow a business or innovation. The program also utilizes structured peer groups to elevate personal skills and collaboration, while also promoting progress. This unique combination of resources, experts, and programming leads to a supportive environment filled with exclusive opportunities to build a business and valuable connections to support leadership and entrepreneurial journeys. Students in the Nebraska Entrepreneurship Accelerator are expected to:
* Participate in Accelerator meetings, which will consist of work time, workshops, networking and mentorship opportunities, and more. * Develop short- and long-term business goals. * Complete a working business model and competition pitch deck. * Participate in at least one Center for Entrepreneurship event each semester. This program comes with a $1,000 scholarship available during the 2025-26 academic year ($500 disbursed after each semester of program completion). Final scholarship amounts may be adjusted under certain circumstances by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. You will also enroll in ENTR424 (Practicum in Entrepreneurship), only open to Nebraska Entrepreneurship Accelerator members, where you can earn 3 credit hours for building/growing your business. Regular tuition fees will be charged to your MyRed account should you choose to earn credit for participation. Membership in this cohort, as well as the scholarship, may continue into future years based on successful program completion. Unless we hear otherwise, we will consider your receipt of this message as acceptance of your place in the Accelerator and the scholarship award. If your plans have changed and you no longer wish to participate, please let me know. You will not receive a permission code to enroll in ENTR 424 until you fill out the form. As a reminder, you are required to enroll in ENTR424, but it is up to you whether to earn 0 credits or 3 credits. In MyRed, the only option when enrolling is 3 credits. If you choose to earn 0 credits, let us know by indicating that on the form, and your enrollment will be changed to 0 credits after you enroll to avoid tuition charges.
