This migration has been carefully planned and thoughtfully developed over time to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success. This migration will: - Enable future-ready technology such as Microsoft Copilot AI - Streamline collaboration across campuses and units - Enhance research security with compliant cloud-based storage - Simplify access using a single login: NUID(a)nebraska.edu<mailto:NUID@nebraska.edu> This system-wide initiative—called the Future Ready Cloud Collaboration Workspace (FRCCW)—will deliver a more integrated and secure digital workspace for all NU campuses. Parking Zones: The paved lot north of Transformation Drive is Zone 9900 on the Passport Parking app. On-street parking at NIC is Zone 80. Parking in downtown Lincoln and the Haymarket is Zone 75. Enforcement: Paid parking in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive is enforced from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On-street metered parking is enforced from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. If you have a NIC parking permit or a UNL parking permit: * If you have a Nebraska Innovation Campus parking permit do not use the Passport Parking app to pay for parking in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. Nebraska Innovation Campus parking permits are valid in parking lots with first come first served parking, reserved spaces (numbered yellow hang tags only) and the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. * If you have a University of Nebraska–Lincoln parking permit please notify Parking and Transit Services and request that your permit be added to the reciprocal visitors list. Send the requests from your official UNL email account to unlpts(a)unl.edu<mailto:unlpts@unl.edu>. Your license will then be added to the NIC permit roster. Access remains for the effective period of your UNL permit. After your UNL permit has been added to the NIC permit roster, do not use the Passport Parking app to pay for parking in the lot north of Transformation Drive. University of Nebraska–Lincoln parking permits are valid only in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. * If you have a University of Nebraska–Lincoln student parking permit do not use the Passport Parking app to pay for parking. University of Nebraska–Lincoln student permits are valid in the student parking section of the paved lot north of Transformation Drive. Not familiar with the Passport Parking app? Please help me congratulate Dr. Majumder's lab for their outstanding performance at the recent AOCS Meeting in Portland. Overall, his research group secured 7 awards during the meeting! I also want to congratulate all the UNL students that attended the meeting. People kept stopping me at the conference and congratulating me about the UNL representation! GBR! It is very fulfilling to see students being encouraged by their supervisors to participate in international conferences and putting themselves "out there" to share their research and experiences. It is great to win awards to be recognized, but I also want to emphasize that most of the times, selecting "winners" is very hard, and the important part is to "go out there" and show the world what you can do! This program aims to pair experienced faculty members with newer or less experienced colleagues to share knowledge, provide guidance, and enhance our academic community.
