Colleagues – This week, we are not going to have a departmental seminar. Instead, I encourage everyone to watch the
Nebraska Lecture: the Chancellor’s Distinguished Speaker Series.

- When: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 3:30 pm
- Where: Swanson Auditorium, Nebraska Union. The presentation will also be
live-streamed and a recording posted on the same website.
I am particularly excited about this topic since the FPC helped Dr. Zempleni and his student collect preliminary data demonstrating milk exosomes are stable after HPP treatment. The FPC looks forward to continue
working with his group on future HPP explorations.
Speaking of The Food Processing Center…
The FPC will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, Nov 20th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, in lieu of a formal department seminar. All FST faculty, staff and students are invited to visit FPC service
labs to learn more about our equipment rentals and testing services. See attached flyer.

- When: Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Coffee and baked treats will be served at 11:30 - 11:55 am.
