For the next two FST seminars, we have Robert Vavala and Krista Croghan from the Center for Transformative Teaching giving a workshop on AI Use by Undergraduate Students (Thu, Oct 9^th) and Responsible AI Use by Instructors (Thu, Oct 16^th). These workshops are sure to help students and instructors learn about new teaching methods and AI tools.

Interestingly, here’s an October 2025 article from NPR on Research, Curriculum and Grading: New Data Sheds Light on How Professors Are using AI.

This is a timely topic and let’s thank Dr. Kurt Piepenbrink for organizing this workshop for the Department.
