The AMP team will be working with the DBA and Hosting teams to refresh QA and move it to the TierPoint data center, then apply the FA PRP. We hope to have QA available by Thursday PM or Friday AM. Grid patch apply to Gen2 Non-Prod oracle databases

Hello - DBA's will be applying the latest Grid Patch to Gen2 Non-Prod Oracle database servers this afternoon. DBA's will do a rolling bounces one node at a time to minimize the downtime, there won't be any significant downtime of NeSIS Non-Prod applications . PeopleSoft Databases on new Gen2 Exadata servers are CSTLSNU / CSTSTSC, CS920NU / CS920SC, CSDEVNU / CSDEVSC, CSUPGNU / CSUPGSC and CSTSTNU / CSTSTSC. Let us know in case of any question. DEV ( today at 10am) and TST (tomorrow at 11am) downtimes

We will be taking CSDEVNU/SC down at 10am to move it to the new ExaData. We'll be doing the same for CSTSTNU/SC tomorrow at 11am. Downtime will be about 6 hours for each environment. Downtimes for NeSIS Non-Production & Production System, Moving Environments to Gen2 ExaData and TierPoint.

Over the next month, the Oracle DBA and AMP teams will move NeSIS Servers & Software from UNMC to a Datacenter and Gen2 Exadata at TierPoint in Bellevue. Most of our environments will incur a downtime of at least 5 hours. Some of the most visible downtimes include CSDEVNU/CSDEVSC Thursday 10/6 from 8am-1pm. CSTSTNU/CSTSTSC will be down on Friday from 11am-5pm. CSQANU/CSQASC will be down starting at 1pm on Wednesday 10/12 (During HEUC). We expect CSQANU/SC to be back up by Thursday afternoon 10/13. The NeSIS Production Environment is scheduled to be down on Sunday 11/6 from 6am-2pm while the database is migrated to Gen2. Many of these scheduled downtimes can be adjusted if needed. Please contact us if you know of any potential conflicts. Below is a re-cap of the downtimes, again, please let us know of any concerns. 10/4-10/5 UPG down for refresh from PRD 10/4-10/5 TLS down for refresh from PRD 10/4-10/5 920 down for refresh from PRD 10/6 8am-1pm - CSDEVNU/SC down for Gen2 move. 10/7 11am-5pm - CSTSTNU/SC down for Gen2 move. 10/12 1pm - CSQANU/SC down refresh &Gen2 move. 10/13 1pm - CSQANU/CSQASC Available. 10/10 8am-5pm PHIREDEV down for Gen2 Move. 10/11 8am-5pm PHIRETST down for Gen2 Move 11/6 6am-2pm - NeSIS Production down move to Gen2.
