CSQANU / CSQASC will be down Tuesday 12/20/22 starting at 1pm to Apply a Database Patch. After the Database Patch CSQANU/CSQASC will continue to be down for a Refresh from Production. Possible extended downtime for CSDEVNU/SC and CSTSTNU/SC

As communicated earlier, a database patch that was applied last Thursday is continuing to cause problems in the CSTSNU/SC and CSDEVNU/SC environments and they remain unavailable. We are continuing to work with Oracle on a fix, but could experience an extended downtime, potentially lasting until the end of this week. If you are aware of an impact to a modification, eform, security change, or campus development, please contact nesis(a)nebraska.edu<mailto:nesis@nebraska.edu> and we will work with you on a path forward. Also, the decision has been made to cancel next week's refreshes of QA, TST and DEV, and the RFC for patching the PRD databases this weekend has been postponed. We will continue to send updates to nesisnp(a)lists.nebraska.edu<mailto:nesisnp@lists.nebraska.edu> as we work on a resolution and will discuss it further at the weekly NeSIS Change Control meeting tomorrow morning. DEV / TST Oracle Database patching 1-2pm

Hello - DBA's will be applying an ORACLE hotfix into DEV and TST database servers between 1:00pm - 2:00pm this afternoon. DBA's will be patching one host at the time and there will be a short interruption to users while they switch between the hosts. Instances might have issues CSDEVNU / CSDEVSC, CSTSTNU / CSTSTSC. We need volunteers to join our testing session from each campus to Validate the authentication of each campus IDP logins and other basic functionality of the NeSIS PS systems. Non-Production Materialized Views

The DBAs are working on an issue related to the most recent database patch and some of the non-production materialized views are not building on schedule. This could lead to some stale data in the QA & TST environments on PS_NBA_PERSDAT, NBA_ACT_CPP and NBA_FA63_DA. We will send a followup note when this is resolved.
