PeopleTools 8.59 Updates
Due to user testing, NeSIS has found a couple of issues with new features delivered with PT 8.59. As we move into QA we are going to disable those new features and we wanted to let you know what they are.
1. The new Search feature of Suggested Search. This new feature is not working and when you click on an item that comes up in the search list, it will sometimes produce an error. We are disabling the suggested search. You will still type in items to search for but none of them will be suggested, they will be those that match your search criteria.
2. Modal Windows AND Auto update on process Monitor. These two features are tied together. There have been a few issues with Modal windows within Dashboards and we are not able to get a good fix before we need to go live. So, we made the decision to turn off these new features.
a. There will not be modal windows that pop up on screens you were not used to seeing. For example, if you click on a link on a page, you will not get the modal pop up window, you will get taken to the secondary page.
b. The Process Monitor will not update automatically. Users will need to continue to hit the refresh button to ensure the status updates.
c. The Notification icon (Bell icon) will not have the message the Process has completed. There will not be any messages to view in that area.
