We received the following communication from the Identity Management Team surrounding the upcoming Sailpoint Upgrade and wanted to pass it on to you. Please reach out with any questions. Thank you.

Hello,

The ITS Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is pleased to share that we will be upgrading our SailPoint identity management system (IDMS) on 10/23 beginning at 6:00 AM. This upgrade is critical to the University & State College systems as the IDMS is responsible for turning accounts on and off, managing passwords, supporting NUID management, and synchronizing upstream HR & student data to downstream services.

The upgrade is scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

During the upgrade, the following IDMS services will be unavailable -

* Password updates

* Account claiming

* NUID creation

* HR & SIS attribute synching to downstream services

* Account provisioning and deprovisioning

Authentication to services will remain active during this time, so users should still be able to log in.

Within the next six months additional upgrades will be deployed to continue to provide a stable and secure IDMS for the University and State College system.
