Good morning Marsha,
I wanted to see if you might be willing to share this renting opportunity with the incoming first-year vet students and the current second year students. This is a home that my partner owns, and he has moved to Ames with me. Here is a description below:

If there are any questions or if someone interested would like it to be a cheaper place to live in its current condition that would probably be fine and can make small updates during tenancy.
During tenancy
⁃ Multiple exterior projects will be in process (currently the fence, then a shed and some landscaping with a patio on the east side. Tenants will not have access to the shed at this time due to storing supplies for the lawn vendor.)
⁃ Currently no bug problems in the home but have an exterminator come out every month and a half which will be continued for preventative measures (as stated above the owner will cover this cost but tenant needs to allow exterminator to have access and adhere to all recommendations given by the exterminator.)

⁃ Parking fits 4 comfortably in single car driveway with one being under a carport. Can fit a 5th vehicle if blocking the sidewalk. There is also street parking if needed.

⁃ House is pushed back in the property and has a privacy fence on 3 sides providing the house with a really good amount of privacy.
⁃ Less than a mile directly south from Bryan West and a block away from a fire station. A few restaurants, multiple parks (Irvingdale, Van Dorn, Rudge, Stransky) and Lincoln Country Club are less than a mile away with more still within walking distance.
⁃ Plenty of trees provide a balanced amount of shade and sun for the property. The total size of the property is just above 7,000 sqft so the yard is a decent size.
⁃ Neighborhood is very quiet and not much goes on.
