Please join us for an American Dairy Products Institute Career Spotlight! Scott Tomes will share his compelling story and experience in the food industry. At Bongards, Scott is the lead strategic planner and business developer providing insights and training. Scott is also a company officer and serves on the board of directors.
Before being appointed to his current position in 2017, Scott began his career in the food industry with The Schwan Food Company in 1990. He has progressively nurtured his career and has held various senior leadership roles with Tyson Foods, Smithfield Foods, Dawn Food Products, and Stampede Meat.
"Bongards has a very rich history and tremendous reputation for quality and innovation", he says. "Our goal is to expand upon that rich history that will drive us into new markets and segment' We want to be a solutions provider to our customers and help them grow their business and thrive in the markets they serve."
A native of Minnesota, Scott holds a bachelor's degree in International Business and Marketing from Moorhead State University.
